Christina Cruickshank is a classical pianist and piano instructor. She is a member of the Music Teachers Association of California, The National Piano Guild, and the Music Teacher’s National Association. Ms. Cruickshank has taught a full roster of students since 2009 and her students participate in recitals throughout the year. While Ms. Cruickshank primarily teaches classical piano, she encourages her students to learn their favorite pop songs. Ms. Cruickshank does not teach any one method of piano, but instead teaches each student in an individual way that best suits their learning style. Students become strong in note reading, music theory, song interpretation, sight reading and technique. Ms. Cruickshank has studied under Dr. Lily Diehl, David Griswold from the University of Redlands, Jasminka Knecht, Sylvia Ho, and Judy Johansen. She has a piano performance degree from Riverside City College, a Bachelor’s degree in education from California State University, Fullerton, and is pursuing a Master’s degree from California State University, Fullerton, in Piano Pedagogy.
